Opening of Registrations to Children's and Family Cycling at L'Etape Slovenia

Non-competitive in nature

The only requirement is that the bike is technically sound and that you wear a protective helmet. All cycling events are non-competitive, and everyone who successfully crosses the finish line receives a commemorative L'Etape Slovenia medal.

The main event venue will be at Slovenski trg in Kranj, where a true L'Etape Slovenia village will be set up, featuring various event partners, culinary offerings, and an exhibition on the history of the Tour de France. Our ambassador, Matej Mohorič, will also be present.

The cycling events will take place in the immediate vicinity of the main venue in the afternoon, and the program with the schedule will be announced in due course.

Free Registration for Children's Cycling

Cycling events for toddlers and children up to 12 years old will take place near Slovenski Trg on an 800 m loop. There are three age categories with different course lengths, all non-timed and non-competitive:

• Children A, > 4 years: 1 lap, balance bike or bicycle. Total length: 800 m.
• Children B, 4.5–8 years: 2 laps, bicycle. Total length: 1.6 km.
• Children C, 9–12 years: 3 laps, bicycle. Total length: 2.4 km.

Pre-registration is mandatory due to the limited number of spots. Registrations are open until the spots are filled.

Family Cycling and Cycling for All Ages

Experience premium group cycling accompanied by vehicles on traffic-free roads or with mobile road closures. The route is just under 13 km long and goes from Slovenski trg in Kranj through the city center–Britof–Brdo–Kokrica–Kranj.

The cycling event takes place at a leisurely pace and is non-competitive, without time measurement. It is suitable for all children who have already passed the cycling test and are used to cycling in a group. A child must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or adult and must wear a protective helmet and have a technically sound bicycle.

Pre-registration is mandatory due to the limited number of spots. Registrations are open until the spots are filled.
