TOUR DE FRANCE & TOUR DE FRANCE FEMMES AVEC ZWIFT: DISCOVER THE ROUTES!
Today, the official routes of the next Tour de France & Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift have been revealed in Paris, France. Disover the routes that will rock your next summer!
Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift 2025
Nine stages over four different phases. There’s something for everyone in this fourth edition of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. And, of course, the final weekend will be the main focus for the stars.
Brittany is far from flat, and the first two stages will remind the riders of that. Designed to ensure and maintain a fastpaced, dynamic race, with the finish lines located at the top of well-renowned and testing hills, they should go the way of the peloton’s punchy riders. Lotte Kopecky has the perfect profile for this double-header. As for the favourites for the overall classification, they’ll have no choice but to engage in this fight if they want to avoid jeopardising their chances.
The more rolling terrain of Anjou and the banks of the Loire and Vienne rivers will then serve up terrain more suited to the power of the pure sprinters. They should be able to make the most of these conditions and decide matters between themselves, assuming that is that they’re able to deal with a few bumps on the route, particularly on the approach to Poitiers.
Then there’s nowhere quite like the Massif central for encouraging breakaways. On those rough roads the riders will have to be vigilant and always ready to move. Both initially on the passage through the Creuse and then even more so on the tougher terrain in the Auvergne, there’ll be opportunities to launch daring attacks that could well pay off.
As for the best climbers, they’ll find the terrain to express themselves during a triple dose of the Alps. On Friday, the race heads through the Chartreuse on roads that will still be relatively easy to deal with. The following day, though, the riders will be be tackling steeper gradients, culminating at an altitude of 2,000 metres on the “roof” of this Tour, the interminable Col de la Madeleine. Then, finally, on Sunday, there are the fearsome slopes of the Joux-Plane, which could well lead to one final reshuffling of the pack before the finish in Châtel.
So, four phases to suit all tastes and talents… The race has everything required to build suspense right up to the final kilometres of the last day
