L'Etape Slovenia 2024 Union Radler Challenge: K0.0lesari na polno!

As part of the 2-day L'Etape Slovenia by Tour de France cycling festival, and in collaboration with our event partner Union Radler 0.0 and our ambassador, top cycling ace Matej Mohorič we are premiering an exciting challenge: K0.0lesari na polno! (i.e. Cycling Full Throttle). The challenge will take place in Kranj, on Saturday, September 7, 2024, in the afternoon (approximately at 6 PM). The challenge is limited to 150 cyclists - women and men.

Boutique Challenge for 150 Participants

Only 150 cyclists will be able to participate in this attractive challenge; those who wish to experience a new dimension of cycling: individual starts at 30-second intervals, loud cheering from supporters along the route, and a finish line at the top of the climb.

Be Different, Be UNION-astic!

All 150 challengers who will be the first to register for the Union Radler 0.0 Cycling challenge K0.0lesari na polno! will receive a cycling jersey in a unique design, tailored specifically for the challenge. This time, we are also partnering with the creative bureau of the manufacturer Alé, so be sure to check your jersey size before filling out the challenge registration. Jelenov klanec – Perhaps Your Iconic Climb

The start will be individual and will take place at 30-second intervals at the top of the climb. Each participant will descend the hill at a controlled speed, as the descent time is not measured and does not count towards the final time. Extreme caution is advised during the descent. The timekeepers will only measure your ascent on Jelenov Hill – approximately 500 m of climbing and a 29 m elevation gain.

Who Can Participate in the Challenge?

The challenge is open to all adults (age on the event day, i.e., September 7, 2024, must be 18 years at 00:00:01), who are not professional cyclists. Participation in the challenge is at your own risk. We encourage all participants in the L'Etape Slovenia events to ensure their own safety and that of others, respect traffic regulations, and consider other road users. To this end, we have prepared sports etiquette guidelines.

Fill out the application for the challenge K0.0lesari na polno!, which will take place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, on Jelenov Hill in Kranj. Registration is free, and you will receive a UNION-astic cycling jersey made by Alé as a gift, which is your dress code for the challenge. Once registered, there are no excuses. Your participation is a must.
